Portofino is a postcard come to life. Treat yo self and go enjoy for the day. If you're not in Italy at the moment, get there, and then go to Portofino.

But seriously, Portofino is about an hour on the train from Genoa and is a great place to spend a day just wandering around. 
The train stop is St. Margherita, then you can walk along the cost road for about 30 minutes (or take the bus) and you'll be in Portofino. Lay on the rocks and tan or do a bit of cliff jumping!
