Faugeres- Red

One of the great things about Paris is that you can drink outside!

My favorite place for outdoor drinking in Paris is in the Tuileries. But this is about wine, so wine it is!

This particular red was a bit heaver then we normally get. With heavy earth tones, lots of clay, brick feelings it went well with our dinner of mainly meat.

The wine was a very deep, rich, red and really warmed us up! It had notes of spices and leather. This is indicative of wine grown on older vines.

What a spread!

A purely enjoyable experience all around!

Cheers.
