The Borough Market- London

If you are in the Northern Hemisphere head to the Borough Market immediately!

The Borough Market is located at the southern end of the London Bridge.

Quick side note -- London Bridge looks like this.

London Bridge

 This is Tower Bridge.

Mixing up the two might make it hard to read a map of London.

But anyway, back to the market. Most importantly, the hours Wednesday to Thursday 10am to 5pm, Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Packed on Sunday!

How could I not?
So British
The whole market is packed with anything and everything you could ever want to eat! It is a dream come true for someone like me! There were treats and meats and juice and pie! If I lived in London this is where I would do my week shopping!

A pitcher of sangria anyone?
We ate lunch in the market. We all split up to make our choices and then met back at a table near the entrance. I went with Whiskey Ginger.

Is this not the MOST divine thing you have ever seen in your life?

Excitement was running high that day! We couldn't make it through the whole market without a selfie!

Enjoy some more photos of the delightful wares the market has to offer.

Pretty paintings
So English
Did I eat all of these? Maybe?
Adorable mini pies!
The whole market takes place below the train line under this great green iron roof. It is a very cool environment!

The charming Southwark Cathedral is situated at the entrance to the market. The delightful smell of food will guide you where you need to go! The closest tube stop is "London Bridge."

Enjoy yourself and indulge a bit, it's always easier when you know you are directly supporting local farmers, bakers and artists!

Cheers.
