The Five Lands of Cinque Terre
Florence was so beautiful, and I am really happy we got the chance to go there. But honestly, it was time for us to get back to the Beach. I cant seem to stay away for very long...
So on to our next location: Cinque Terre!

In the Heart of Florence
We had one more day left in Florence so we attempted to avoid the rain and explore the city as best we could!

Lunch Under the Tuscan Sun
Picking back up right where we left off on Friday...
After our horseback ride and Medieval town tour we were utterly famished! Thank god the next stop on the tour was lunch.
Welcome to the Tenuta Torciano Winery in San Gimignano, Italy.

At the Beach Tanning
It's our first post for the New Year!!! The holidays have been extremely busy for us and it clearly took a toll on the blog. But we are picking up right where we left off, back on the island of Sardinia!
We took a bus from our campsite to the main bus depot, waited around for what seemed like forever. Got on a bus going to the port of Olbia on the opposite side of the island. And then one last bus which dropped us off in the town of Golfo Aranci.

Beach Bungalow Bliss
Our gorgeous ferry ride brought us to our first stop on Sardinia, or Sardegna as the Italians say. Camping at La Liccia.

Italian Love Affair
I may not have mentioned this already but this was Julia's first trip ever going outside of the United States.

Ciao Ciao Italy
For our last few days of the trip we went to Genoa. Genova, as the Italians call it, was more of just a stop over for us on the way back to France.
There was not a whole lot to do here but we still had a fantastic time.

When in Rome...
I don't know what it is about Italy, but I always seem to have the best time when I am there. (Minus that one time I had to spend my fifteenth birthday in the Milano Airport, thanks to Alitalia... Even though that was around 10years ago I think my entire family is still pissed about that incident) But Italians are so friendly and generous (much nicer than the French), I just love them.
