Florence was so beautiful, and I am really happy we got the chance to go there. But honestly, it was time for us to get back to the Beach.  I cant seem to stay away for very long... 

So on to our next location: Cinque Terre!

We had one more day left in Florence so we attempted to avoid the rain and explore the city as best we could!

After our horseback ride and Medieval town tour we were utterly famished! Thank god the next stop on the tour was lunch.

It's our first post for the New Year!!! The holidays have been extremely busy for us and it clearly took a toll on the blog. But we are picking up right where we left off, back on the island of Sardinia!

We took a bus from our campsite to the main bus depot, waited around for what seemed like forever. Got on a bus going to the port of Olbia on the opposite side of the island. And then one last bus which dropped us off in the town of Golfo Aranci.

Our gorgeous ferry ride brought us to our first stop on Sardinia, or Sardegna as the Italians say. Camping at La Liccia.

The next day we traveled from Bastia to a lovely spot called Porto Vecchio.

Leaving our Cannes apartment was a bittersweet moment for us.  We were unsure what the future of our trip would bring, but we were also extremely excited for a new beginning. Our first adventure was hopping on a GIANT ferry heading to bluer waters surrounding various Mediterranean Islands.

Our photo shoot took a little more time than we planned for, so we had to run through town to make it to the changing of the guards ceremony.

After Jen stayed wth us I had a couple of days to do nothing, Meg went to Portugal and I got the apartment ready for a visitor. One of my old College roomies was coming to Cannes!!!
